Rob Hoffman is a Los Angeles based producer, songwriter and recording engineer. Rob has worked with some of the music industry's most successful and legendary recording artists and producers, including Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Etta James, Phil Collins, Jam and Lewis, and many more.

Rob has a B.A. from Skidmore College and a degree from Full Sail Recording Institute. He started his career at the world-famous Hit Factory recording studios in New York City, where he worked with the likes of Arif Mardin, P Diddy, and recording legend Bruce Swedien, who became Rob’s long-time mentor. This relationship led to a four-year stint as one of the core members of Michael Jackson’s production crew; working on two albums, a tour, an HBO show, and a short film. Soon after, Rob became part of the core production team for Quincy Jones on “Q’s Jook Joint.” During these projects, Rob had the opportunity to work closely with legends such as Janet Jackson, Babyface, Jam and Lewis, R Kelly, Dallas Austin, Slash, and David Foster.

Rob struck out on his own in 1998 producing a then unknown, former Mickey Mouse Club member named Christina Aguilera. The work led to Christina's signing with RCA and to her debut album sales of over 15 million copies. Rob has been profiled in television specials including VH1’s “Driven: Christina Aguilera” and two E! Entertainment Specials.

Rob’s compositions have been featured in multiple prime-time television series such as Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty, The Office, Private Practice and 90210; in feature films and trailers such as Pursuit of Happyness, David LaChapelle’s Rize, Honey and Kiss of the Dragon; and ad campaigns for Mercedes Benz, Virgin Mobile, and Gen Art Film Festival.
